Project Description
The Hill Group installed the core and shell HVAC systems for this 17-story 440,000 square foot building located on the southwest corner of Block 37. CBS occupies the lower four floors, while Morningstar is the tenant of floors six thru sixteen.
Three 900 – ton water chillers piped to four 75,000 – CFM VAV air handling systems in the 17th floor mechanical space serve Morningstar. Two 350-ton chillers connected to two 65,000 – CFM VAV air handling systems on the 5th floor serve CBS. A set of 14-inch chilled water lines rising 17 stories provide for tenant auxiliary cooling requirements. Cooling towers are mounted on the roof. A DDC building automation system is utilized.
