Project Description

The Hill Group was responsible for the process mechanical construction for the district chilled water production plant. Project included setting of mechanical components and piping of ammonia refrigeration system.

Two rotary screw compressors were installed for an initial capacity of 4,000 tons. The piping systems are designed for 16,000 tons. Initially glycol will be pumped through 108 ice building coils inside 2 tanks for a capacity of 66,300 ton – hours. The system is designed to support 100,380 ton – hours. Heat is rejected through cooling towers installed above the 25th floor.
