Project Description
The Hill Group had total design and build responsibility for this 1,125,000 square foot 46-story office building.
The building has 6 low-rise, 17 mid-rise and 15 high-rise office floors. There are also a lobby, conference center and health club.
The building is primarily served by two built up, low temperature, variable volume air handling systems located on the 3rd and 29th floors. Medium pressure supply duct risers are connected to duct loops on each floor. The 3,200 ton cooling requirement plus 700 tons of supplemental tenant cooling is provided by Thermal Chicago’s district cooling system. The heat transfer station will be located in the parking level.
The two levels of parking below the lobby are served by a CO detection system controlling supply and exhaust fans.
